Several New Retailers Join the Mix at Sunrise Mall
BROWNSVILLE, Texas (June 5, 2026) – Sunrise Mall today announced the addition of several new retailers.
Among them is locally owned retailer JNGL, which recently opened in a 1,610 sq. ft. space across from Bath & Body Works. The brand blends performance and modern design, offering versatile styles and high-quality activewear and athleisure. Additionally, Tiny Cantina is set to open early June, bringing a unique twist to the shopping experience. Known for its skilled mixologists and handcrafted specialty drinks, the 903 sq. ft. space will be located in the Food Court.
In addition to JNGL and Tiny Cantina, Sunrise Mall will also welcome two new retailers this fall – Happy Beauty and Zumiez. Happy Beauty is a modern beauty destination offering a curated selection of cosmetics, skincare, and beauty accessories at accessible price points. The 2,455 sq. ft. store will be located across from Rack Room Shoes. Zumiez will open across from Build-A-Bear Workshop in a 3,207 sq. ft. space, bringing its signature mix of skate, streetwear, and lifestyle apparel. Known for connecting fashion, music, art, and action sports culture, Zumiez brings a high-energy retail experience that resonates with Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha shoppers.

Grand opening details for Happy Beauty and Zumiez will be announced as plans are finalized.
